The Pennsylvania Soft Drink Association is a financial
partner with Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, a nonprofit alliance of
government, business, statewide non-profits, and local community groups
organized to promote and protect Pennsylvania's natural and community
environments through education, networking, research, stewardship,
and influencing public policy to prevent litter, beautify Pennsylvania,
and minimize the negative impacts of waste.
PSDA provided general support funding to establish Keep Pennsylvania
Beautiful as a nonprofit organization and has most recently supported
special initiatives like the Great
PA Cleanup and the Statewide
Litter Summit in 2004.
In the past, PSDA was an active member of the State
Litter Task Force, supported the relaunch and updating of the
Litterbug
and was a sponsor of the “Eye
on the Environment” campaign promoting anti-litter education
with students.
